Right now I am sitting on the 35th floor in our hotel room, over the rooftops of Bangkok, waiting for the last day of our Thailand trip to come.

Leaving the island makes me so sad.

I am missing my every morning-walks on the beach with the doggies.

Every Som Tam is different.

I wish there was an Asian Food Channel in Germany. Love their cooking shows!

Brought the "Zombie" (cocktail) to the Ibiza Bar at Haad Yao.

Sorry for being a bit more absent than usual these days, but the weather here is just too fine to spend time infront of a screen!

So this week started with a trip over the local food market! Heavenly!

And we got really sunburned! Even on a cloudy day.

After some days at Koh Samui (we decided to skip the fullmoon-party-people-overloaded boats)we went to Koh Phangan! Wonderful like the last time!

Also the see cucumbers (are they really named like that in English too?!) are still here & even got bigger than the last time...

Of course we did some snorkeling & saw the most beautiful fish! I should have brought an underwater cam...

Wrote some cards, read a lot & found some time to draw a bit.

The air is full of sunlight, flowers & the most beautiful butterflies I've ever seen!

BKK - Chiang Mai - BKK - Koh Samui.

3 flights this week.

Bangkok is not relaxing. And nomore exciting either.

Sickness, fever & Paracetamol.

Ganesha & Buddha.

We had our first massage here in Thailand with some very funny Thai Ladies. So nice & relaxing!

Soleil. Sable. Et la mer. Finalement.

After another few days of sickness (this time me, who wonders) our last day in Chiang Mai arrived. And we are
going to explore some temples today and having a relaxing massage this evening. The next days we will head over
to the beautiful island Kho Phangan. Unfortunately our arrival will fall on the same date as the monthly full moon
party (if you don't know about, google it). I am not happy about that, because that means a lot of party people and noisenoisenoise. But there will be the ocean. That keeps me positive!

Ennui.

♥ is feeling sick today. So we stay at the Guesthouse, I just went for a little stroll around the neighborhood.

Mango & pomelo. Dragon fruit for breakfast.

Lots of Reading & Sun.

Had a stop-over in Dubai; very interesting city!
We'll stay there for a couple of days on our way home!

Somehow the Bangkok wild dogs almost disappeared...

Tomorrow we'll head up to Chiang Mai, in the North of Thailand.

Spent a wonderful evening yesterday with a nice band, Som tam
(spicy Papaya salad, my favourite) and in the Best company!

Btw, I am currently posting via a smartphone for the first time.
I hope I'll get used to it, at the moment it is a bit confusing, my fingertips
seem to be too big.

Tomorrow we will fly away for about four weeks.

Notebook.

Inspired by Kelsie's wonderful handmade books, I found some time to make myself a little travel notebook for our
trip in about five weeks (Can't wait, I am really stressed out by this whole B.A. thing)! I have lots of paper lying
around & it is so easy to make your own little notebooks! And if you don't want to give it a try, you can buy the
loveliest ones at Kelsie's shop!

So, we did it. Again. It's four weeks Thailand in August.

I need a change of scene.
