First I want to thank you for the lovely comments on my last post! Every single one means the
world to me! Even more because it refers to something I created and made by myself.
Thank you all so much!

Today was a big garden market were I went to. I got some beautiful flowers for our garden
and my dad's one! Some I planted at the moment I came home, some the next days. Have to
think about where's the best place to put them!
This weekend I will spend with my dad and brother. I am glad about that, because our street
is a non-stop road works. That means there is a permanent bunch of noises and that is some-
thing I can't stand. Noisiness is the hell for me.

So I hope there is no road works where you live and you can enjoy a calm & undusty weekend!

The cowls.

So as I promised you on Sunday, here are the photos of the cowls I made by my selfdyed fabric!
Somehow strange to take photos of oneself, I am definitly not used to it!

Veggie couscous.

Inspired by the food blog "My new roots" from yesterday's post, I concidered that I have to eat
more healthier than I did lately. Less sugar & coffee, more fruits, tea & water! So this will be
my goal for next week. And I show you my good will by starting with this veggie couscous today.

Stumbled over this nice food blog via Sarah's.
Prepared our garden & bunnies summer home.
Painted old but gratis garden furniture. Took about 5 hours, we didn't expect that.
Found the mice nest from last year.
Ate a lot of ice cream. But our homemade berry one was the best!
Enjoyed the sun with our families & got some tan on my skin already!
Sewed some cowls out of the dyed fabric, I will show later this week.

Vintage finds.

As I told you, there was another fleamarket day this saturday.
But it was a bit disappointing, because I expected it to be crowed like never and there were just
a few people there.
Nevertheless I found something: some old linen fabrics, a blue stitched cusion & an emaille jar,
I will put some lilac inside.

Dyeing!

This morning while Mr T was still sleeping, I found some time for a long planned project.
I almost forgot about how unexpected results you get when dyeing your own fabric!
My exact plans to do it concerning how I want it to look like totally failed and it came
out so differently! But even better, I think! The fabric is so nice and soft, kind of silk and
linen mix. Probably will use it for some cowls.

And tomorrow is fleamarket again! Yuhhhh!

Ail des ours.

Spring is not just the time for asparagus, it is also the time of the year when you can find a lot
of wild garlic around our forest.
My father-in-law collected some for me and I decided to make a pesto with it. All you need is a
huge bowl of wild garlic leaves, italian cheese, olive oil, salt & pepper. If you can get some fresh
wild garlic, you should give it a try! Wish you all a warm & sunny day!

Sun is shining outside, I am at work. Did a little drawing over the last week.
I draw a lot last time, almost as much as at the beginning of my studies.
Makes me calm and happy.

7 things.

This week felt very cold, I was freezing all the time.
Was very irritated by my dad. Have to overcome this. Time is too precious.
Watched my zucchini seeds grow.
Visited a soccer game, but our team didn't win.
Joined the wonderful exhibition skop.
Got a really lovely & special compliment this week! Yuh!
Did a 2 hour lasting bicycle tour! Was so nice, I love to ride my bike!

After a two week period of not knowing where to start with my bachelor thesis I am suddenly
fallen into and catching up the lost time! Feels right, I am glad that I switched to that new theme!

Le lilas avant la maison.

This is a photo of the lilac I have promised you. I don't know who did that, but obviously
someone cultivated it. I also can't remember how it looked liked the years before.

I have worked a lot today and am not finished yet. But I found a little time to bring my penny
pot to the credit institut and it contained exactly 69 Euros! Not much, but even a start, because
I fell in love with a type font for my bachelor thesis and the Typejockeys luckily gave me a discount
about 35%, but it will be 234 Euros nevertheless! Poor student girl I am.

Short update.

I am in a hurry so there will be just a short update for you:
Yesterday I spend the whole day scanning old film. I haven't done that since one year and
absolutely forgot about how long it takes. So there are just a lot of photos to scan for, I
didn't get them all. In the evening I joined a very interesting speech from Claudia Seidel
about her work on VORN magazine.
Today I travel to Mainz, visiting an information event for Master degree and friends of mine,
yet studying there, presenting their work in the evening! I am really looking forward what
they have done so far!

I almost forgot to tell you: in our front garden stands a lilac, blooming in white and purple
at the same time! I try to catch a picture of it, so I can show you the next days!

I sewed a little.
Went for a run again and it wasn't worse than last week.
Went for a walk every day since Wednesday! Yeah!
Joined the wonderful speech of a friend presenting her final project. It was about loneliness & lovely!
Baked myself a Sunday-cake.
I really need a haircut. The "Dutt" is the only fitting hairdo at the moment.
Saw the first blooming strawberries!

I wonder if I will ever have luck with an avocado plant. This one is three weeks old and absolutely
nothing happened.

Yesterday was the long night of museums which I couldn't have joined in the last years but
this time I was free and lucky to get some tickets. It always happens in 3 cities the same time
(Ludwigshafen, Mannheim and Heidelberg) but we decided to join Heidelberg program. So we
strolled around, visited some art shows, the Heidelberger Schloß, some ancient student things
the city is popular for and a cute little Vespa show! And there I found her: "Ilse"! Isn't she lovely?
And I want to share this little strawberry-painted tea pot with you! I think it looks just wonderful
and if they were open I would have bought high over heels!

In Mannheim I saw this gorgeous idea of planted plastik bags! They hang them all infront their
house! Super idea!
